While his latest film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion is breaking records all over the world, KV Vijayendra Prasad is pretty disappointed with his next venture that failed to take off. The famous Bajrangi Bhaijaan writer who was excited to join hands with Sunny Deol for a patriotic film has now reportedly revealed that the film in question has been shelved.

Baahubali writer KV Vijayendra Prasad’s film with Sunny Deol shelvedAsserting that the film will not be happening now, KV Vijayendra Prasad further mentioned that Sunny Deol will be completely focusing on his son Karan’s debut venture Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Rumours of Vijayendra Prasad and his filmmaker son SS Rajamouli coming together for a patriotic film apparently titled Mera Bharat Mahaan started doing rounds last year. However, soon the reports died down after it was firmly maintained that Rajamouli hadn’t thought of his next until Baahubali 2 hits the screens.
In fact, for the said patriotic film, Prasad and the rest of the team had even approached Akshay Kumar for the same but when that didn’t work out, they decided to meet Sunny Deol for the same.
On the other hand, as mentioned by Prasad, Sunny has already kick started his son Karan’s debut film in Manali and has been sharing updates on the same on social media.
As for KV Vijayendra Prasad and SS Rajamouli, the two continue to celebrate the stupendous success of Baahubali 2 which has grossed over Rs. 900 crores worldwide.
