After the grand success of Mughal -E- Azam and Sholay in their re-released, upgraded versions, its time for yet another yesteryear blockbuster to hit the screens. Ramesh Sippy's cult hit Shaan, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Sunil Dutt, Parveen Babi and Kulbushan Kharbanda in his unforgettable role as Shakal, will be re released next week. The print quality has been improved and the sound has been re-worked in cinemascope to match up with today's technological standards. The film packed with action, comedy and emotions will be released only in Maharashtra. Looks like the trend of re-releasing old hits is a fad here to stay!
