The success of GADAR-EK PREM KATHA seems to be inspiring our filmmakers to attempt period films, more particularly films that deal with Indo-Pak issues. In fact, Saawan Kumar had already finalised the script of his new film (he had titled it AUR KITNE PAKISTAN then), but there was speculation that he had dropped the project and was instead planning to start two films with new faces. Its not true, Saawan said, adding, I am going ahead with the project I had planned. And it wont star newcomers. In fact, Saawan has already recorded songs for the film.
