Remember Negar Khan? Well though the foreign model turned Bollywood item girl is not in the Indian sight for quite some time now, she might certainly not be erased from public memory.
The girl has constantly been a fodder for several controversies in the media over the past year. The actress who was deported from India earlier this year is now making waves in her hometown of Oslo in Norway. Recently Negar was a part of a ramp walk in Oslo where she gave 'head-turning' and 'eye-stopping' moments to those present in the audience.
On Saturday 11th of June, Negar walked down the ramp for a fashion show along with other prominent Norwegian models including personalities like Miss Norway. And while she was catwalking on the ramp in a two-piece outfit, her top fell off in front of the entire audience. And while the top was away from her body for just about 3 seconds, it was enough for all the media and camera crew to capture her topless images. The stint was hot news and widely speculated in all Norwegian newspapers on Sunday. And while it was reported that the act was accidental we are not saying anything on whether her top 'fell' down or was 'dropped' down. What we know is the fact that Negar is an actress who very well knows how to remain in news.
Negar's next hot Bollywood release is Vicky Tejwani's Double Cross - Ek Dhoka where she plays a stripper-cum-pole dancer. She also has an item number in Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal.
| Negar's controversial history so far May 2004: Some explicit pictures of Negar Khan made rounds of the internet surfacing through a website. The images showed Negar posing in semi-nude, just in her bare essentials for a leading Norway men's magazine VI Menn. She had also appeared as the (topless) cover girl in the Issue 29 (Year 2002) of the magazine having a circulation of more than one lakh. The editor of VI Menn had approved of the fact that the images were of Negar. However Negar then disapproved of all the pictures stating that she has not posed for them and they were certainly morphed. July 2004: Negar posed for the publicity stills of a movie titled Hello Kaun Hai? in the American Beauty theme clad in NOTHING but just some flower petals covering what needs to be covered. Negar who had earlier claimed that she never felt the need to go nude or semi-nude, had done these hot titillating semi-nude photo shoots for the film. February 2005: Negar Khan was deported from India back to her hometown in Norway following the expiry of her visa in India. She had violated the work permit conditions of the country. Another surprising aspect that came into light through this episode was that Negar claimed that she was married to actor Sahil Khan (her co-star in Double Cross) since September 2004. |
