Nawaz's film Miss Lovely has won the IFFLA award today in Los Angeles. The IFFLA is the Indian Film Festival Los Angeles. This will be Nawaz's second tryst at international film fest after his film Gangs Of Wasseypur made rounds of all international film fests last year. This year it's for his film Miss Lovely, where he plays the main lead and his film has won the best film award.
It certainly seems like Nawaz is all set to become the Indian face of the international cinema with the kind of recognition he is getting. Interestingly, Nawaz's film Gangs of Wasseypur was also competing at IFFLA and was also screened there.
