Nadeem-Shravan are two bodies, one soul: Shravan:

At a crowded press conference at a banquet hall in Lokhandwala Complex on April 2, music director Shravan denied an article in the latest edition of Stardust. Said Shravan, ”I am disgusted by this display of yellow journalism. I am surprised how a publication like Stardust can stoop so low to malign successful people. The article is unethical. Their aim of creating a rift between Nadeem-Shravan will never be successful. ”I can’t think of parting ways with my brother. We have stood the test of time and have stuck together in all times, good and bad. I have stood by Nadeem in the past, will stand by him now and in the future as well. ”Even when some films did not work at the box-office, by the grace of God, our music sold like hot cakes. RAAZ is one of the biggest musical successes of all times. The music of ANDAAZ is also on top of the charts. All I want to say is, Nadeem-Shravan are two bodies, one soul.” The same evening, Stardust organised a press conference to counter the statements made by Shravan at his press conference. Following is the statement issued by Ashvin Varde, editorial director of Magna Publishing Company Limited, publishers of Stardust: ”Fact is that younger music directors have made a bigger impact in recent times. One cannot deny that people like Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, Ismail Darbar, Himesh Reshammiya and others have been bagging the bigger projects. ”After the April issue was released sometime back, Shravan called us and spoke to us about it. He said that Nadeem had taken the story very badly. In fact, Shravan had constantly been in touch with us over the last one week. It is a total lie when he says that he hasn’t been able to reach out to us. ”Stardust stands by its story because it is completely based on facts. Nadeem and Shravan have to learn to accept criticism because that will help them get over their own limitations.”
