Mahurat of Aitbaar:

It was one of the most happening film launches of this year when three ex-colleagues of the Bombay Scottish school came together, sharing their past glory and present achievements. Yes! The mahurat of the romantic thriller ‘Aitbaar’ on Feb 17, saw ex-B.S. colleagues Jatin Kumar (son of veteran actor Sujit Kumar and the producer of the film), John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan come together along with the sensuous beauty Bipasha Basu and the all-time favourite Amitabh Bachchan. While Hrithik was there just to wish good luck his childhood friend Jatin on his debut as film producer, he consented to give the mahurat clap too, after which John performed an emotional scene stopping his bike amidst artificially created rain for the mahurat sequence. The film stars Bachchan as Bipasha’s father, while John plays a biker out to woo her. And guess who’s at the helm of affairs Vikram Bhatt who directs Big B for the first time and has repeated Bipasha after giving a hit together in ‘Raaz’. What a combination! Presented by Mohammed Fasih, ‘Aitbaar’ has music by Nadeem-Shravan and lyrics by Sameer. Other credits of the film include story by Vikram Bhatt and Robin Bhatt, dialogues by Girish Dhamija, screenplay by Robin Bhatt and Sanjeev Duggal, cinematography by Pravin Bhatt, editing by Amit Saxena and art by R.Verman. Sandeep Barot is the associate producer and Arun Rawal the executive producer. The film is made under the banner of Karma Productions.
