More and more heroines are focusing their sights on films that showcase their talent to the fullest. Mahima Chaudhary is one of them. Besides signing Tanuja Chandra's forthcoming film, Mahima has said 'yes' and confirmed yet another project whose story revolves round the protagonist. Titled COFFEE [yes, that's the name of the film!], the film will be directed by Prem Soni [who has directed a couple of television serials in the past] and produced by Anwar Ali [brother of comedian Mehmood and who had produced the Amitabh hit KHUDDAR in the 1980s]. COFFEE will be made in two languages simultaneously Hindi and Spanish, Prem tells me, Spanish, because I belong to Spain and I want to make a mark as a film-maker there as well. The other reason being, the story revolves around a woman who runs a coffee shop in Spain. Actually, the idea originated when I was sipping coffee there. The young director adds that the film will star a mix of Indian and Spanish stars. We've more or less finalised the Indian cast, only the paperwork needs to be completed, he divulges. COFFEE will be shot in two schedules from May 14 to June 10 in India and from July 1 to 20 in Spain.
