Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahima in a commercial:

Nari Hiras Magna Publishing which publishes magazines like Stardust, Showtime, Society, Savvy and Health will soon be producing films. Their banner has been named Magna films.

Their first three films are expected to have a budget of Rs.300 million. The first film titled Bhram, will commence at the end of August. It will be directed by Pavan Kaul and will have music by Pritam. A non stop shooting schedule will take place in Mumbai and Pune. It stars Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Simone Singh, Chetan Hansraj and introduces model Sheetal Menon. The second movie will be an Indo-U.S. collaboration and the third will be a thriller.

Incidentally, this is not the first time that the publishing house has ventured into film making. They had produced the film Mumbai Raat Ki Baahon Mein, under the banner of Hiba Films.
