Jaya Bachchan and Mohanlal, the super-star of Malayalam films, have been teamed for THE SEA, which will be produced by Sukhwant Dhadda (director of EK CHADAR MAILI SI) and directed by Shaji Karun. The producer and director have already left for Leh to scout locales for the film, after which they will proceed to Rajasthan and Benaras. The film, which will go on the floors soon, is based in Rajasthan during the pre-partition days, around 1945-46.
