It appears that Akshay Kumar is indeed going places. The latest news goes that producer Pahlaj Nihalani has signed Akshay for his new film, which will be directed by Suneel (JAANWAR, EK RISHTAA) Darshan. The film is expected to take off once the shraddh period is over. "It is true that I have signed this particular project and I am looking forward to it. Besides, I have cultivated an excellent tuning with Suneel and it is great working with him," Akshay reveals.
Meanwhile, Akshay has denied reports that he has plans to quit films and settle down in Canada. "I love Canada. It is a beautiful country, but there are no plans of quitting films, either now or in the near future. I am sure the news has been planted by some mischief makers," he says with a smile.
