Hollywood will have to wait for Hrithik:

en Bollywood News Hollywood will have to wait for Hrithik:

Hrithik Roshan has been signed up by producer James Killough and director Tarsem Singh to play a role similar to Hamlet in movie inspired by the immortal play of the bard 'Hamlet: Prince of Denmark The story is about a Rajput prince living, loving and killing in India of the 1850s, in the backdrop of the turbulent times when princely states were falling under the control of the British Empire. The movie is titled 'Aditya' and was almost shelved, as Killough could not find an actor who fitted the image he had in his mind. Then, sometime last year, he saw Hrithik on the cover of a magazine and found what he had imagined. ``Two months later, I'd signed him,'' he says, speaking from his office in Hollywood. What you're left with, in Killough's words, "is a chilling thriller which will have a global appeal.'' For, the Rajput prince who avenges his father's murder even though it causes the downfall of his own kingdom "is basically a killer. He knows exactly what he's going to do, and during a shikar kills his father's brother who'd married his mother following a Rajput tradition.'' The multi-million dollar international film will be shot with major Bollywood actors in Jodhpur Fort and England. Speaking to the press Hrithik said though he has signed the film, the movie would not start off until 2003, as he was fully booked until then. Hollywood will have to wait for Hrithik.
