Maestros spread peace with Heartbeats
Five Indian musicians have joined hands together for a musical tour of the country to spread the message of peace and harmony. Ustad Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan, U. Shrinivas, Sivamani and Selvaganesh Music maestros will participate in Heartbeats, a musical tour of different cities in the country.
Hussain, a tabla maestro, Mahadevan, versatile vocalist, Shrinivas, a child prodigy, Sivamani, the ace percussionist and young Selvaganesh will mesmerise the audience with their music. "Heartbeats symbolises a lifeline with its own rhythm. With this musical tour, we intend to spread the message of peace and harmony through music, leaving the audience yearning for more," Hussain told reporters.
The natural link between music, heartbeats and state of mind exists, their synchronisation is inevitable as the mind, soul and body respond to music of the heartbeats from within the body and the heartbeats respond to the music from without the body, he said.
