The talented Freida Pinto, who has been making news globally because of her reel life as well as her real life, has now yet another reason to pat herself on the back and feel proud about.
The buzz is that, she is now all set to join the cast of The Jungle Book, that's directed by Andy Serkis. Speaking about the same, an insider source said that, "Freida Pinto has always been very clear and focused with her film choices and has chosen roles that are diverse and interesting. She has already worked with Andy once before and with him directing this The Jungle Book; she was very keen on being part of his directorial venture. Freida has grown up reading the 'Jungle Book'. So, when she was presented with the opportunity to be part of the film, she was elated as its part of her childhood."
The film, which goes on floors in a few days in South Africa, is jam packed with other stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis and more.
