Vashu Bhagnani's Shaadi No.1 is a fun entertainer from the outside but on the inside certain people are pretty unhappy about the proceedings. The fact of the matter is that Bhagnani and director David Dhawan roped in DJ Aqeel to compose the title track of the film for them. This act of theirs brought along with it the title of music director for DJ Aqeel as this will be his first music composition. The original music director of Shaadi No.1, however, happens to be Anu Malik who is rather upset with the turn of events. Malik has already composed six tunes for the movie and feels that it is his right to be informed if the producer/director of the film brings in another music director. Bhagnani on the other hand, begs to disagree. He is of the view that there was no clause between Malik and him stating that he has to be informed if another music director is asked to make a few compositions. Apparently, Dhawan and Bhagnani wanted something fresh, special and different for the title track. For this they knew that DJ Aqeel would be the man. Hmmmwonder what they're trying to say. While Aqeel is delighted with his transformation, the offended Malik has decided to make his agreements a notch more stringent. From now on, the seasoned music director plans to include a clause stating that if he is signed on he will remain the independent composer for the entire film. But that's it for now from Malik. He has absolutely no time to get to the bottom of this as he is busy working on the music of Jaaneman, J.P Dutta's Umrao Jaan and Farah Khan's Happy New Year.
