Deepika Padukone at an event in Mumbai today expressed apprehension about Padmavati. On the one hand she said that the film had a definite release date but then she didn't sound sure if the controversy involving Karni Sena's demands will result in the film actually getting made. This is exactly what Deepika had to say:
Deepika Padukone NOT SURE about Padmavati"Every film has its own sort of journey and if it is meant to happen it will happen. As far as I know Padmavati is definitely scheduled to release in November this year but if life has different plans for us and this film then let's see. If not Padmavati then maybe some other film."
