Besides starting a string of companies, including Popcorn and Foursome [partners: Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Suniel Shetty and Nitin Manmohan], actor plus entrepreneur Suniel Shetty has started yet another company, which is being headed by his wife, Mana Shetty. Called M. & M. [Movies & More], the company has already swung into action. Enlightens Suniel, Like the name suggests, M. & M. will not just produce movies, but will go beyond that. To start with, A.B. Corp. and M. & M. will produce their first film on a joint venture basis, which will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The script is very dear to Amit-ji. A.B. Corp. and M. & M. hope to delve into other entertainment ventures as well. Right now, Suniel's Popcorn is involved in is organising a fund-raising cricket match between India's Eleven [Indian actors] versus Pakistan's Eleven [Pakistani actors]. We've received a proposal from someone in Pakistan. The funds accrued from the sale of tickets and sponsorship deals will partly go to Imran Khan's cancer hospital in Karachi [Pakistan] and partly to the I.I.F.A. Charity Fund in Mumbai, Suniel tells me. The match definitely one to look forward to will be held in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi some time in February this year. Watch this space!
