Soon after Bharat Shah was arrested, the newspapers and television channels went all out to furnish details of his stake in Bollywood. One of the films mentioned in the list was that of Mohan Kumar's Hrithik-Amisha starrer AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE, directed by Vikram Bhatt. It was reported that the shooting of the film, financed by Shah, had come to a grinding halt in Australia soon after Shah was arrested and the unit was stranded in Sydney due to lack of funds. But Gautam Kumar, the producer of the film, denied the news outright. "We were amused by this gross misrepresentation of facts by the media. The shooting in Canberra and Sydney went on smoothly and we completed our schedule without any hiccups. We shot two songs in Canberra and action scenes in Sydney, as per our plans. What a section of the press doesn't know is that Bharatbhai is merely the Mumbai distributor of the film, not the presenter," Gautam stated. One more rumour bites the dust!
