On the lines of 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon', comes another film 'Banke Rahoongi Aishwarya'. But the similarity ends at the title itself, for unlike in the former film where the protagonist wanted to follow the footsteps of her screen idol Madhuri Dixit, the latter has nothing to do with Aishwarya Rai. The producer of the film Arif Khan (who used to play an Anil Kapoor duplicate in small films) clarifies that it's the story of a village girl who gets a role in a video album and subsequently a chance to act in a film. From there on begins her struggle to maintain her position in the industry. The film has a message for the aspirants in the film industry. Initially titled 'Main Banna Chahti Hoon Aishwarya Rai' the film was re-christened as 'Banke Rahoongi Aishwarya' when the actress in the title, objected to her reference in the movie name.
