Anupam is dropped like hot potato from Sawal Dus Crore Ka It is very obvious that the Zee attempt to counter the KBC juggernaut by keeping a mind boggling sum of 10 crore as prize money and Anupam Kher / Manisha as anchors in Sawal Dus Karod ka has failed. The TRPs of SDKK are in dumps while KBC is still going strong. Zee is groping at the straws and in a bid to increase the popularity; they have dropped Anupam Kher as the anchor. Zee feels that Anupam's style is very deadpan and he is unable to connect with the viewers. He has been replaced Ashutosh Rana. Manisha will however continue in her role as co-anchor and announcer of commercial breaks. When contacted, Anupam was purple with rage. He had to drop 4 films to accommodate this Zee show. His contract with Zee runs till December 15. He fumes that Zee did not even have the courtesy of discussing the issue with him. He became aware of his kickout from media reports.
