All charged up for the second season of the Indian remake of the American series '24', Anil Kapoor is now gearing up to recreate an action packed Hollywood film in Bollywood style. The actor turned producer has joined hands with Lionsgate Films for the remake of the 2010 action comedy Red.
Anil Kapoor collaborates with Lionsgate Films for the Hindi remake of REDAnil Kapoor productions will be co-producing Red along with Lionsgate Films. Posting this poster on social media, Anil Kapoor further announced the same saying, "And here it is! We bring you the multi-starrer action-comedy phenomenon #RED! Let the adventure begin! @Lionsgate." Further encouraging her father, was actress Sonam Kapoor who too tweeted, "My dad's worked on some pretty awesome projects throughout his career, but never seen him so amped up! @AnilKapoor gearing up for #RED!" While they are yet to finalize the cast for the film, the production is said to kick start by August this year.
Red, the original is directed by Robert Schwentke and stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Mary-Louise Parker, John Malkovich among others.
