Eros Theatre centrally located at Churchgate in Mumbai is where the trailer of the latest Amitabh Bachchan starrer Shamitabh was released on Tuesday evening.
And the venue was chosen by the Big B himself.

This is where Zanjeer had opened in 1973 and turned Mr B into a superstar. This is where his biggest hits including Deewaar and Sholay were premiered. He insisted that the trailer of Shamitabh be released at Eros theatre."
The crowds that gathered at Eros on Tuesday to greet the star whose films have over the years, repeatedly graced the theater, and were a swelling tide of humanity.
Says Balki, "I had never seen so many people standing for a glimpse of Mr Bachchan before."
For Amitabh Bachchan visiting the Eros theatre was like a home-coming.
"So many memories came tumbling back to him. Amitabh Bachchan hasn't forgotten a thing. Every detail of every premiere that he ever attended of his own films flooded his mind," says Balki.
