Mohan Kumar and Universal announced the release of the music of AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE at a get-together on Sunday, February 3 at Filmalaya Studios. The get-together, a family affair, was graced by the top brass of the film fraternity.
Though the music will be released officially on February 9, the function was primarily held to create awareness for the film. Hrithik sounded excited at the way the film had shaped up. I was as excited before the release of K.N.P.H. as I am today. I pray that I am equally exhilarated after its release, he said.
But the wittiest comment came from Amisha Patel, which was received with an ovation. It took me two full years after K.N.P.H. to tell Hrithik that AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE, she quipped.
The cynosure of all eyes and cameras was, without doubt, Vikram Bhatt, who was greeted with warm handshakes and hugs by one and all. With RAAZ opening to a fabulous response, the young director was literally glowing with happiness and excitement. It brought memories of a statement Mahesh Bhatt, Vikrams guru, made to me more than 10 years ago: This boy will be an amazing director in times to come. Watch out for him.
