Whom can you imagine to play the father of Bobby Deol in a film? Anyone, but certainly not the young and energetic Akshay Kumar, at the first go. But that's the very case in Anil Sharma's patriotic saga Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan as a retired Sikh army general. Akshay Kumar plays Amitabh's son while Bobby Deol plays his grandson. With such a casting, we doubt whether Akshay and Bobby will share any common screen-time. Does that mean Akshay whose also is an army officer dies somewhere in the midst of the film?
Incidentally Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol had previously co-starred together in Abbas Mustan's Ajnabee. However, they played neighbors of the same age group in that film.
