Abhishek Bachchan has been signed by Columbia Tristar backed project 'The Last Revolutionary'. Based on the life of the freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad, it will be directed by Priyadarshan of Virasat fame. The lavish-spend film will be made in English and later dubbed into Indian languages. It will be launched by the end of the year with shoots scheduled in India and London. Though Chandrashekhar Azad was a bachelor when he died, to cater to large set of audiences, an American actress will be paired with Abhishek as his romantic interest. Detailed research on the subject is still on and will be completed only towards the end of the year.
