For the trailers of the movie will be shown in the theatres, where Shaadi No.1 will be playing. Both the films are being distributed by UTV. Rang De Basanti will be released in February, next year. Directed by Rakyesh Mehra of Aks fame, it also stars Soha Ali Khan, Waheeda Rahman, Om Puri, Kirron and Anupam Kher.
