its a classic film agreed. but why was it re-released in colour was un-understandable.
the songs are nice. thats the only plus point.
dilip kumar does not sound like a hero. ajit(of mona darling fame) on the other hand had great command on his voice. his characterisation was also better. the movie is very long. 3 hrs. and the pre interval sessions are boring. the story actually starts after the interval. all said and done, the movie was made 50 years ago,so at that time it conveyed a very good social message.
