Well Priyan is back at what he is doing best- No, Im not talking about his comedy films, but remaking films! This film is definately one of the boring comedy films! It starts off after some time, where the laughs are genuine, and then again is all goes haywire.
The way the film has been projected is as a total comedy laugh riot, but this film is just a tangent to this genre of films. It has a few laughs, but after half way it take the serious highway!
Akshaye is there to only yell at his father. Paresh's performance is getting repetitive. Shobhna is completly wasted. Genilla is pretty and bubbly. Naseerudin Shah injects his performance with the right amount of venom. The saving grace of the film however is Om Puri and Archana Puran Singh.
Om Puri as the loyal friend on the hunt for a bride is top notch. Archana is there for a few scenes, but she is awesome as the hot mouthed ACP.
Please stay with your baap at home and enjoy dinner than going for this baap film. Priyan- plz give us a Hera Pheri or Hungama. Not any more of this crap...
