i MIGHT BE LITTLE BIAS in rating because i like rajshri.Values,culture,morals, family, emotions, family, small town, simplicity, sweetness etc are words that comes in ones mind when one hears Rajshri. Rajshri has continued there style even in 21st century when rest of the bollywood has moved to comedy and sexual intimacy. they have made us close to our roots of our culture.
Story: Very well written screenplay that takes one through the journey of life of main protagonist (Chandni - Eesha Kopikar). she starts her life without mom ... becomes National Singing Competition winner ... falls in love with Prem (Sonu Sood) .... loses father ...take cares of responsibilities.... waits for 12 years to get married. The soul of movie is extent of love and maturity and discipline that two lovers goes through.
Actors: Eesha has done great job in terms of dialogue delivery, emotions etc. She has proved that she can be Rajshri girl, she has proved that a director can put weight of the story on her shoulders. I think Eesha got right turning point in her career.
Sonu is great ... he is truly a prem ...., but not too shy as the old prems ... in acting terms awesome
dIRECTOR: Kaushik Ghatak is talented director, used every shot with great transition in film... he has captured emotions of each character very well.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO PEOPLE WHO LIKE FAMILY ORIENTED MOVIE ... AND NOT TO PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR MIRCH MASALA, SEXUAL INTIMACY, HOT SCENES, COMEDY....
What I liked about the movie:
Emotions and story. It would link to you or you may no someone who has gone through such period in their life. We have forgot family values in the race of materialistic ambitions and should give more time to our family.
What I didn't like about the movie:
Songs were little annoying because it came every 8mins... but some songs are situational so stry keeps moving.
