Ok so some people are saying TASHAN is completely bakwas and I totally don't agree with them. However, some people are also saying that TASHAN is rocking and I do not agree with that either. TASHAN is more of a comic book style movie with the full-blown AKSHAY KUMAR in it. One thing I agree is that if you take AKSHAY KUMAR out of the movie, it's a immediate super-flop movie. However, AKSHAY is in the movie so it deserves at least 1 round of applause. I'm not going to give anything away, but the story of TASHAN is actually really good. Many people have disliked the movie because of it's story, but they haven't actually noticed the story itself. The plot of the movie begins at the start of the movie, but the story unfolds after the interval. Moving onto actors. AKSHAY is just hilarious. His ganga-kinara-wala-TASHAN is just plain amazing! A full entertainer right there! SAIF ALI KHAN is pretty cool. Although his role is a lot more different than RACE, he manages to squeeze in some 1-liners that just crack people up. Next is KAREENA KAPOOR. She has acted well, but if someone else were there instead of her, it would've been a nicer film. Lastly is the amazing ANIL KAPOOR. All I gotta say is WOW! ANIL KAPOOR still hasn't lost his humorous touch over the years. His TASHAN is unique which makes his character so great. The scenes are nice (just like every other YASH RAJ movie), but they kinda remind me of JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM. Fighting sequences are just plain awesome and funny! For those of you who haven't seen it, you'll love the fight sequences. Action directors go comedic with AKSHAY's fighting! It's so cool! The songs were also plain awesome! Seeing them on the big screen is like some KINGLY honor or something like that. Overall, it's a good movie, but not exactly the ideal movie. A little below what I had expected from a YASH RAJ movie.
