If you want to see Leh, Himachal Pradesh and Atari – at its best – do watch HEROES. Yes, cinematography is excellent – it’s like a lesson to aspirant cinematographers. Specially the scene of starting of journey of two riders (Sohail and Vatsal), and second scene where sohail try to catch the fish at Leh. These scenes are shoot at par with Hollywood style.
Heroes is not a war story – but capable enough to raise patriotism emotions in viewer’s mind. It’s the story of two film institute graduates trying to make movie on war soldiers as a project. Storyline is good, execution is also good. On acting front every character is perfect in its place.
The only flaw in this movie is its climax which seems to be little bit extended. There was no need of Mithun and that extended part of Mithun at all. Sohail catching fish would have been the perfect climax of movie – the rest part is an extended part for no reasons. This was probably to encash Mithun Chakroborthy.
On a whole – Heroes is a nice movie.
