Saw the movie last night.
Taran has written so much negative about this film with that i am totally disagree
ya the film's script is not up to the mark but still make impact
i can see it again
Madhuri dixit has shown that no other actress can beat her in histrionics in commercial cinema.
in some of scenes even the diva herself is running
her expressions fast as the script runs
script doesnt allow her and whole cast to make huge impact in scenes
but the crowd in movie makes impact overall
i do agree that laila majnu saga is bit lengthy but its diva herself,kunaland konkana who saves the saga beautifully
What I liked about the movie:
performances
no doubt its entirely madhuri's show
she is excellent in dialogues with akshay khanna and in the roof scene with konkana
even though madhuri over shadows each and every one in movie still kunal and konkana are good
kunal is in good touch in romantic scenes but bit over acted as politician's boy
konkana shines almost in each and every scene
akshay khanna is brilliant he should do these kinda acts again and again. he is ggod in almost every scene but superb in scene with irfan
divya dutta and irfan are good,
raghuvir yadav and ranbir did brilliant performances
rest of the crew is superb support especially vinay pathak and sushmita mukherji, akhileder mishra is watchable too.yashpal sharma is good in comic scenes
What I didn't like about the movie:
script which is not givivng any surprises
as written as regular moviegor knows watt will happen in next scene
