Madhuri Dixit at her best. I don't know WHAT the critics were expecting! This movie is wonderful and was perfect for Madhuri's return. Sure, the plot is thin. Every country that produces films has, more than one, had a film where the "underdog" hero/heroine takes on The Bully/The Government/The Evil Person and save the city and its people. But while the plot maybe a little weak, it is nevertheless well executed and well-acted by one and all. The movie is not only about Madhuri's Dia. You also get involved in the supporting characters because they are so well developed.
What I liked about the movie:
Madhuri's dancing is simply superb. And she proves that she not only can do classical dance to perfection, she also does modern and experimental dance wonderfully. She lights up the screen. Hats off to the D.P. because he knew just how to film her beauty. Brilliant casting of the supporting players.
What I didn't like about the movie:
Anything I said would just be a "nit pick" and isn't important to the enjoyment of the movie.
IGNORE THE CRITICS!! Go and see this!
