This is the same critic who gave a supposed splendid review on Partner which was a full on copy of Hitch. That's just to bash the Roger Ebert wannabe, Taran Adarsh.
Considering that it's a bollywood movie, it is meant to entertain. Who the hell actually really cares about the script when movies such as Om Shanti Om became a hit with a faltering script. Even that itself was a full throttling entertainer with no concept of a story. What's lacking in this movie? Perhaps, the extent of SRK's nose or his presence in the film.
This is Madhuri Dixit we are talking about. Her dancing, her acting, and her persona which has altered the ways for an actress to shine in the industry leading on a pathway for women like Rani and Kareena.
This was an entertainer. Do we really expect a Hollywood movie out of a Bollywood movie? No. There's a difference. CGI, script, and good acting are present in almost all Hollywood flicks. So what if this movie lacked a stenuous script? Do the masses in India really care..they pay their hard earned money to get entertained.. not really think about it?!?! That's the job of those desi dramas.
What I liked about the movie:
Presence of Madhuri.
What I didn't like about the movie:
The fact that people like Taran Adarsh are given the opportunity to blab nonsense than critique.
Would you recommend this movie to your friend: Yes
