Awarapan, is one of the finest movies to come out of Bollywood, this year. Director Mohit Suri, is at his best here. He has gone for the daring subject of spiritualism, and packed in extra material that can appeal to almost everyone. There are many scenes which stay on in the mind long after the movie finishes. The flashback sequences, with Emraan and Shriya. Perhaps the most powerful scene is the very beginning, with the arrival of Mrinali, such a scene can only be so aethetically and realisticaly portrayed by Mohit Suri. Pritam's music score, is as always, top notch, it is completely different from the modern trackswe have been hearing today, To Phir Aao, is simply amazing. The entire album, can almost reach the gargantuan album of Life in a Metro. The performances here are terrific, Emraan Hashmi finally proves himself as an actor of substance, his performance can match Abhishek's in Guru and Aamir Khan's performances in Fanaa and Rang De Basanti. Shriya Saran, lights up the screen in her small role. Her smile and attitude, bring a smile to your face. Her looks can compete with Aishwariya Rai, she gives a wonderful performance. Mrinali Sharma gets a dream role in her first film, like most of the new entrants from the Bhatt camp, she delivers a performance that rival's Jiah Khan's in Nishabd, she will most likely win the debut awards next year. She is simply outstanding, this girl will be big one day. Ashutosh Rana is proficient as the villain, and Shaad lends able support to Emraan Hashmi, however his death sequence seems slightly fake. A winning film from a winning team!

What I liked about the movie:
The performances, music, the beginning and the direction

What I didn't like about the movie:
it gets a bit to dark at times
