Dhol is a remake of a very good Malayalam Movie 'In Harihar Nagar'. But already a remake had been attempted in Hindi way back in 1992. The movies name was 'Parda hai Parda'starring Chunky Pandey, Late Laxmikant Berde, Kiran Kumar and South Indian actress Meena.
