If you did not like this movie, you don't have good heart or you don't have a soul in your f***ing body!! Taare Zameen Par is great show all the way and the performances from Safary make it even more so. Boasting music form the irrepressible SEL, this film is a blockbuster in every way possible.
Taare Zameen Par tells the story of Ishaan Awasthi(Darsheel Safary) who suffers from Dyslexia but no one knows it. They all think he is a dumb duffer who cannot do anything right. To correct this they send him to a boarding school where he starts to become isolated, an introvert and is angry with everyone there.
Then their Art teacher leaves to New Zealand and a replacement is brought called Ram Shankar Nikhumbh(Aamir Khan). Aamir diagnoses Ishaan of dyslexia, tries to cure him and succeds. Then there is an art contest in their school where Ishaan beats his teacher Nikhumbh Sir in front of his parent and the movie ends with Aamir throwing Ishaan in the air.
This is a must watch for parents above the age of 30 and for kids below 15. Just take your head along, and don't forget a hanky either, you may cry litres of water!! This is truly heart-rending movie.
Overall, Aamir Khan has another blockbuster to add to his list. Excellent performances for Aamir and Darsheel makes this a memorable show. Amole Gupte's script is flawless. Aamir as a director, well, he is outstanding! Don't miss it! If you could not watch it in a theater, buy the DVD which is released by T-Series in India!!
