The film has already created sensation in South India as’ Aapthamitra’ in Kannada, as Chandramukhi in Tamil & Telugu and the Original Manichitrathazhu in Malayalam.Priyadarshan opted to copy the original and he succeeds in making visually attractive film with superior performances and a stunning suspense, BHOOL BHULAIYAA is not the usual run-of-the-mill priyadarshan fare. It would be a welcome change to the hindi speaking audiences.
The chartbusting song “'Hare Krishna Hare Ram'” that's taken the nation by storm could have played in between to accompany akshay’s character rather than appearing in the end credits. Vidhya balan and Akshay Kumar scores and the technical team lends able support in this family entertainer.
