Homo-sexuality has been part of argument in our country, previously Fire and Girlfrind had to face revolt in countries but this time it’s a DHARMA PRODUCTIONS who always believe in family entertainment and again they stands for it prominently. Directed by Tarun Masukhani DOSTANA is story of two individuals who by incident pretend to be a gay couple to rent a home and drama goes on. John Abraham as Kunal, a photographer in Miami looks fantastic on screen with well toned physic and unforgettable expressions after each dialogue. Abhishek plays as Sam, a nurse in a local hospital, he is good in entire movie especially but he could’ve been better. Priayanka chopra as Sneha (Neha) looks glamorous than ever before she slip in to the right shoes effortlessly.
Except the three main leads others have been fascinating like Boman Irani as a gay boss!! And Kiron Kher as Abhisheks mom. Booby is convincing in his role. The music (Vihal and Shekher) is good but two songs make a swing in the screenplay. Background socre (Salim-Suleman) is good as usual and has some naught sounds too.
At the end of the show you enjoy it very well because DOSTANA is more humorous than being vulgar. Go with your family it’s a complete ENTERTAINER.
What I liked about the movie:
Lead Protagonist
What I didn't like about the movie:
Unwanted songs and some over-acting by Kiron Kher
