Two words: HILARIOUS ENTERTAINER! Ever since I watched that first teaser of Dostana, I had this gut feeling that this movie was going to be amazing. There was just SOMETHING about the movie that completely and instantly caught my attention, and before I knew it, I was counting down for the release! I was dying to watch this one!! A Karan Johar movie is always quality cinema, and this is no different. It was soooo refreshing! After a very, very long time I have seen a very, very different, but good comic caper! Every two minutes there would be something hilarious coming up, especially in the first hour. I havent't laughed so much and seen something THIS refreshing and innovative in quite a long time, and this I give complete credit to Tarun Mansukhani! Brilliant brilliant work! Making a film that is completely centered around a Gay angle and not one single bit making it look vulgar or cheap or make you cringe in your chair, is incredibly difficult! Not once are the situations and the gay jokes offensive.. in fact, it's all done in plain fun humor, just to make you laugh. And I think that is where Tarun earns those brownie points! Superb handling of a sensitive and difficult subject. Now this would certainly not have been possible if it wasn't for John and Abhishek's performances, together and individually! Their chemistry is perfect. Even a slight discomfort in the body language of the two guys could have ruined the whole impact. John looks super duper HOT (triple emphasis on that word =P) showing off that super built body. And he acts remarkably! Priyanka looks mindblowing and carries herself well, in every single outfit! Her chemistry with John and Abhi is awesome, and her acting in this one was completely natural. She is just stunning! But it is definitely Abhishek who steals your heart. He was superb in portraying a character that was trying by all his means to look and sound like a gay. Flawless acting! The comedy surrounding this entire issue can make anyone laugh like never before! Kirron Kher was so so sooo funny! I missed her A LOT in the second half though. Neha's aunt and Boman Irani also add a huge chunk to the comedy. I think all the actors have done superbly well, except for Bobby who didnt really do anything exceptional. He was his regular self. Everything was topnotch, from the direction, locales (Miami looked heavenly), cinematography, editing, music (now this one deserves a mention..AWESOME job by Vishal-Shekhar. Every song is special and they have chartbuster quality in them!), choreography... and the list goes on. The only thing that had really disappointed me was the ending, and to some extent the second half. I think the director could have done much better with this. It was just not up to the same level as the first half was, but it was still great fun. Hats off to Karan Johar for giving us something new. Overall, I think the film is brilliant! Very funny, very innovative, very refreshing, and VERY GOOD! Dostana is going to be a trendsetter, like how the "Kantaben" episode was in Kal Ho Na Ho, and it has all it takes to be a Blockbuster hit! Don't miss this pleasant change! MUST WATCH!!

What I didn't like about the movie:
The ending, and to some extent the second half. I was really hoping for Priyanka to end up with either John or Abhishek, but I was heartbroken! :(
The second half was great but I think Tarun could have made it a lot better.
