Here is a perfect story for our evolving bollywood trend which is prominently started since some last 4-5 movies. It’s a very good story.
Good friends – no matter of which gender, can live happily, chill out, drink, dance, sing and do all the Masti........ Wait! Until sex and attraction part don’t obstacle. Once this sex and attraction came in picture, it starts ruining your emotional bindings’, trust, beliefs and whole friendship by that way. The concept rocks (its rocks and not roxx – please mind it).
A good story and script executed very well – hats off to director. Director Tarun Mansukhani has really handled both parts – one of full too comic sequences (1st half) consisting some really illogical but yet possible plots – remember Abhishek bluffing about their imaginary love story in Venice. And second part of emotional love story. Here scenes of Abhishek – Priyanka sharing their unforgettable moments, scene of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and the one on basket ball court are worth mentioning. The usage of Blockbusters like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Tare Zameen Par is creative and it helped.
Music is above average but really well gelled with movie.
And here is one more strong point of this movie i.e. the performances. Abhishek and John are at their best. Priyanka is just rocking with good acting and believe me she is looking very beautiful throughout movie. Kiran Kher and Boman are perfect with their roles – as usual. And Bobby Deol - this actor is coming out of his comfort zone lately and he is doing very well.
Overall movie is ‘feel good’. Just go for it.
