When Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) and Kunal (John Abraham) are turned down for an apartment because the landlady doesn't want two strapping young men to corrupt her young sexy niece Neha (Priyanka Chopra) they go to plan 'G' - they pretend to be 'Gay' to secure the apartment. All is well till they meet the sexy siren Neha and thus begins a journey of fun frolic and a test of friendship like never before. When Neha's boss Abhimanyu (Bobby Deol) enters the fray as the third contender for her affections, it gets even hotter under everyone's vests and bikinis and the boys get down and dirty in sunny Miami. The viewers were already offered the "Gay" stuff by Dharma Productions' in "Kal Ho Naa Ho", but that was just the trailor. But this time, Dharma Productions' brings to you the whole feature film of the "G" stuff. Not that the movie promotes the "G' factor but it does have it as the main factor of the movie. Firstly, the story seems to be quite a rip off from the comedy of the Hollywood, "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry", but to tell you the truth, the story is quite different. There is just one similarity & i.e. the lead actors pretend that they are gay. The movie does makes you laugh with all it's gay stuff. Specially Abhishek Bachchan, he does a fantastic stuff, pretending as a gay. John was okay, neither good, nor bad. Priyanka Chopra looks stunning & performs well. Her bikini look would blow every guy's mind (except for some of the exceptions). Kiron Kher & Boman Irani had small roles but they were impressive. Bobby Deol was okay. Shilpa Shetty's seductive item song in the opening credits works well. The new makes a good comedy & romantic flick. The music is foot tapping & is already a hit. Not only the movie clicks because of it's humor, but also does works wonders because we rarely get a worthy movie these days in Bollywood & "Dostana" is pure entertainment. Go for this "G" stuff & laugh all the way. A sexy movie.
