An effortless attempt to create Chak De! magic which fails miserably. The first half of the movie is a pain to watch and Arshad Warsi giving the worst performance of his career remains uninterested with the proceedings in the entire movie. John Abraham looks awesome (more like a model than a soccer player) and tries his best with the one and a half expressions he can put into his acting to revive the second half. Bips(team physio) and Boman(coach) have put up decent performances.
To conclude, it wont be long before GOAL gets ‘free-kicked’ out of the theatres.
