From the 10 stories, I would pick 6! Its something different from RVG's Darnaa series, and it does entertain.
Something else good about the movie is that the 10 stories dont drag. The entire film is under 2 hours and thats a relief!
Pooranmashi [Meghna's best work] would top the list of the 10 stories told followed by Rice Plate [great going Shabana] and Gubbare [simple and touching]
Sex On The Beach has a supernatural touch and so does Lovedale. Sadly, for me they did not entertain. High On The Highway leaves you high and dry sadly. Strangers In The Night starts off on a seductive note and ends on a saviour note.
The music too which is mainly used in the backgruond score is a must listen. Its in perfect tune with the narrative of the stories.
This film is worth 6 out of 10. just for those 6 novel stories. Its worth a watch, for something different.
What I liked about the movie:
6 stories: Matrimony, Pooranmashi, Gubbare, Rice Plate, Zahir and Rise & Fall.
What I didn't like about the movie:
High On The Highway, Sex On The Beach & Lovedale: The weakest stories of the lot! You could have had better stories Sanjay Gupta!
Would you recommend this movie to your friend: Yes
