The movie deals with people who are not afraid of speaking their minds and have the guts to go the extra mile.Buddhadev Gupta(Amitabh Bachhan) is an indian restaurant owner in London with a cocky attitude ,one day he meets Neena(Tabu) who points out fallacies in his zafrani pulao which kind of outrages him and later it turns out she was right. One thing leads to another from there on and they start liking each other and finally decide to get married. The film also features Paresh Rawal .
What I liked about the movie:
Cheeni Kum is a mature romcom ..which is something you dont come across these days; nothing is uselessly forced in the movie ..be it the romance or comedy ...which is the best part;the dialogues are relevant and crisp ; as far as the music goes..the purpose of music is to provide substance where there arent any dialogues ..which is exactly the case here and i really appreciate it.Big B is spot on and Tabu and Rawal are terrific
What I didn't like about the movie:
The sequences between Amitabh and the child actor
'Sexy'(Swini Khara) are kind of itchy because one is not able to accept that a child can use such language with a man who is her grandpa's age.
