GURU is a good movie.A mind blasting film by Mani Ratnam.Abhishek as the main protagonist-Gurukant Desai alias Guru is good and becomes powerful in the last court sequence and he plays a good role of a dialysis affected person who cannot use his one hand.Sujata(Aishwarya) is good in the role of a simple village girl and becomes a suitable wife when she helps Guru in all his problems.Manikdas alias Nanaji(Mithun Chakrobarty) is good as the 'Swatantra-The Independent' newspaper publisher but does the fabulous job of the villain in the movie who wants to destroy Guru aims and ambitions.Shyam(R.Madhavan) is good especially in the scene where he speaks about Guru in front of Nanaji.Meenu alias Jalkukdi(as Guru calls her) is good in the role of a simple girl who can't walk and is constantly on her wheelchair but Mani doesn't do justice to her role(which I think) by making her die.All the other actors have done a good job but the average role is of Jignesh(Arya Rabbar) who gets too little scenes in the movie but is good.Jhumpa(Mallika Sherawat) is good as a belly dancer. This movie though may be inspired by the biggest industrialist of India-Dheerubhai Ambani but by seeing the movie u won't say it is based on the life of Dheerubhai Ambani but it is about the life of Gurukant Desai alias Guru.

What I liked about the movie:
The role of Abhishek Bachchan as Guru and he says the dialogue in the starting as the old Guru in front of the stadium very powerfully and beautifully.

What I didn't like about the movie:
Nothing
