WELCOME is a good movie.
The story:-
Uday Shetty(Nana Patekar)and Majnoo Bhai(Anil Kapoor)two brothers who are don want to find a suitable bridegroom for their one and only sister Sanjana(Katrina Kaif)but since whichever family comes to them with the marriage proposal of their son for Sanjana are either criminals or are not of respectable family they reject it.Dr.Ghungroo(Paresh Rawal)wants a suitable bride for his nephew Rajiv(Akshay Kumar).One day Majnoo calls up Ghungroo and tells him to give Majnoo 4 crore rupees in cash as protection money.He comes to know about Uday who can save him from Majnoo.After Uday helps Ghungroo he decides that Sanjana will get married to Rajiv not knowing the reality of Uday.The pandit tells Ghungroo that Uday is an underworld don.To escape Rajiv from getting married to Sanjana they escape to Dubai but the problem even comes there in the form of Majnoo who is there to find Ghungroo is called back by Uday to Mumbai.Ghungroo meets Sanjana and decides that Rajiv and Sanjana will get married.One day Uday tells Rajiv to bring Ghungroo to one of Uday's hotel inaugration.When Ghungroo finds out that Uday is Sanjana's brother then he gets shocked he starts acting of being unconscious.One day Majnoo comes to meet Ghungroo in the hospital but tries to shoot him.After a lot of hesitation Ghungroo agrees to the marriage of Rajiv and Sanjana.Before the engagement RDX(Feroz Khan),the godfather of Majnoo and Uday comes to Mumbai to attend the engagement of Rajiv and Sanjana.On the day of engagement a girl by the name Ishika(Mallika Sherawat)comes and tells that many years ago when Rajiv and Ishika were just kids Ghungroo's sister decided Rajiv and Ishika's marriage and they got married.Before dying Ghungroo's sister enthrusted upon him the responsibility of Rajiv and telling that Rajiv should not get married to a girl whose family is connected with the criminal world.One day Rajiv and Sanjana decide to change Uday in the form of a film shooting with Uday as the lead actor but one day seeing Uday riding a horse and making him do jobs which a don never does he beats the film crew and stops the shooting.One day Majnoo comes in the auction of one of his own paintings.Ishika comes there and Majnoo gets his dream girl unknowing that Uday also loves Ishika.One day Lucky threatens to kill Rajiv so Sanjana shoots a bullet on the chandelier which after hitting the chandelier hits Lucky's neck.They see that Lucky is still alive and since in the fear that Lucky will reveal the truth that Sanjana tried to kill her Rajiv tells Sanjana that he'll tell RDX that he tried to kill Lucky.Ghungroo assures Rajiv that Lucky will die soon but the day when Lucky was going to be cremated Lucky wakes up and tries to run.The advocate of Majnoo and Uday tells RDX on the phone that Lucky is dead.Ghungroo decides to act as the dead Lucky in front of RDX.Lucky reveals the truth and RDX brings everybody to his house.The builders try to cut off the house and a chaos is created.Before the house falls off Lucky hangs.Rajiv helps Lucky and Lucky is rescued but after sometime Rajiv also survives and is married to Sanjana for helping Lucky.
What I liked about the movie:
The work of all the actors and Nana-Anil bond as the two don brothers Uday Shetty-Majnoo Bhai.
What I didn't like about the movie:
The music but the title song is the best.
