Well, when i entered the cinema hall to watch this movie, i had nearly zero expectation from this flick. Not because i hate Mallika, however the movies from the PNC banner have always disappointed me (except Jhankaar Beats which was awesome). They are more marketing oriented than their content (which is though good for them, but a cropper for any Bollywood fan).
However the movie took me by surprise completely. The songs are rocking the music charts anyways. The movie begins with Rahul and Mallika with the latter proposing marriage and the former fumbling to give an affirmative answer. The movie takes off from there and you see how helpless Rahul becomes in his quest to understand women. Brilliant comedy from Rahul, wish we could see him more in big banner films. His comic timing is amazing. The scenes involving Rahul and Mallika's father are amazing. Also the bar sequence and the score board sequence is lovely. The second half however disappoints and is ok. Mallika sheds her glamorous image though she kisses Rahul umpteen number of times (less than Khwahish's 17!), Neighbour's envy and Rahul's pride though.
A word of caution here: Take your boyfriend along and he is sure to behave the same way as Rahul does. Nor prizes for guessing he won't propose marriage to you. Or if you do, i am sure he will not commit as well.
