Excellent movie in all respects. I do not know what it up with the mixed reviews... may be it has to do with IQ/ignorance level of the masses. But people who can appreciate literary values, acting, language and the splendour of the era will really enjoy the rich experience. Ash is absolutely gorgeous and has handled the role of Umrao with par excellence. No one else would have been able to do justice to the role which required the real skills in acting.
I sincerely believe that Ash deserves the same amount of respect and kudos as Rekha got in old Umrao Jaan.
For those sitting on the sidelines....please do not miss this real gem!
