I think the movie was great and so were the songs. Blieve me or not i have seen both umraao jaan and both were good in its own way. No matter what one says, it cannot be denied...

Umrao Jaan. Is not exactly a remake but it is taken from a novel. If you see the old umrao jaan the dialouges and many scenes are different. But I believe its J.P. dutta's poor...
